A code of one platform, unlike Hybrid Apps, works for that platform only. There are two main platforms which are in high demand nowadays viz ANDROID and IOS.

Android apps are written in the Java programming language and use Java core libraries. There are SDKs available for the development of Android Apps. General tool used for Android app development is Android Studio
IOS apps are software application developed for use on Apple's iOS-powered iPhone devices. iPhone apps are available through the Apple App Store and are designed to run on Apple's iOS mobile operating system, which powers the iPhone as well as Apple's iPad and iPod Touch devices. Native IOS apps are written in Objective-C language and can be developed only through Apple Powered Xcode software.
